Nutanix Objects is highly scalable object storage platform. Architecturally it can scale beyond a single AOS cluster. For the first release you can deploy up to 32Node Objects cluster , which is as large as underlying AOS cluster.So the limit actually comes from underlying AOS cluster.
Objects also supports deploying multiple object store clusters on single AOS cluster, which means, you can choose the same AOS cluster to create multiple Objects cluster. All these Objects cluster shares the same AOS resources but still provides independent S3 namespace .
While such a scale is very attractive, we must understand a few aspects of Objects deployment and then choose how big deployment vs how many Objects instances on one AOS cluster to deploy.
